A Zion priest baptizes himself in Maputo Bay near the Mercado do Peixe. The religious group believes the area is sacred and use the water, sand and beaches in several rituals and in worship. The area suffers from serious erosion and the road nearby has recently collapsed despite reinforcements of rocks to act as a barrier against the tides.
